Dammit people
How can you now understand it? It's a fairly simple flash animation.
I've always loved this animation. Honestly though, I can see why it's in the Goth section since most Goth people would/should love this. As you said yourself, it isn't exactly the Super Mario parody. Goth people would probably understand this if they truely are goth.
To the people who don't understand it: Be happy you don't. Give it a 10/10 and forget it. You'll probably never really understand it anyway. You're the robots in that movie.
Even so, I can give you my interpretation of it. Those people at the buttons could be the government or people around you in your ordinary days. Slowly, but surely, killing you off by not letting you be yourself. By forcing you to show emotions you don't have. By forcing you to do things you don't understand. Surely no one wants to be left alone. Even if they don't become happy over the smallest things in life like the rest. And the f*cking in the end? That's just what people do. People don't feel anything if they cut the connection with those who aren't showing emotions all the times. Probably because they didn't have any connection in the first place. Just _screwing_ around in their everyday life.
I understood this when I was 16 (4 years ago) and I'm afraid that since I do and since I get the feeling that I'm the man on the machine and not the machines themselves, that I'm going "to die" like the man in this flash too. Though I'm glad that at the moment, I'm only at the fake smile part of it. So far it seems like people aren't "shooting" me as long as I just keep my SMILE!
Truely a 10/10 for being so much more than just a flash.
