Words can have different meanings in different languages. For instance, we see "colgate" as a brand of toothpaste probably because it was an English surname or something like that. In Spanish, it roughly means "go hang yourself."
Donde can mean something different in Japanese than it does in Spanish. Which, incidently, it means "where" in Spanish.
