This has got to be one of the best things ever!
I haven't seen anything this good since I saw the counterstrike movie. Probably the best fun I hav ever seen poked at final fantasy, from the spells, to the characters to the sheer hilarity of the story. You my friend have some awesome talent. I especially like how Pensuke's victory cry goes with the won battle theme. It's awesome. And amazingly enough, it has a moral, too! Good Job man. Good Job!

Gorgeous, great, a superb movie
This was a fucking great movie, i loved how pensuke used a pencil as his weapon and i loved how it ws spoken in japanese, although since taking japanese at college i now find it kinda strange as i can understand quite a few words, but anyway a superb movie I fucking loved it, kinda worked as an unusual Final Fnatasy story as well good job.

I appreciate this, and thank you, the author/animator. This was a great experience! It's a cross between... uncostly but effective smooth anime, video-game relations, and a stressing but classic friends+school environment. While it catches the real feel of Final Fantasy in that Penesuke needs his friends in the tests/battles, it also portrays the atmosphere of school: we hate to go to it, but we need it. Also, the teachers are gigantic, smelly anuses covered in week-old fart juice.... yuch.
I can also appreciate your efforts to make this single-handedly, as your Japanese in impecable! Assuming you're American or Canadian, I've never heard such well-spoken Japanese by someone of Western ethnicity in a place like Newgrounds, or elsewhere that's not professional. Not to mention you learned it on your own, as well as not using others' voicings for this.
9/10 my friend, and 5/5. RAMEN!!!!
