Wow. Great movie. Very original too. The japanese voices add to it very well. I love how you use fighter, black mage, and white mage (I'm thinking FF1 here) and turn them into characters with some depth to them. I also love the teacher. He isn't, perchance, a representation of a real person, is he?
As for the sound, I was thinking FFVII.(but it applies to all of the games if my thinking is correct). The UI is faithfully transfered over (and changed to fit the topic at hand :P).
As for the originality, the attacks were ingenious (Chocobo Cram School XD).
On a last note, I loved the loading screen (or should I say, grading screen). I think that it turned out quite well, and made me chuckle
