Very, very funny

This was great! I was expecting something along the lines of a straight parody, but you really managed to add a nice and surprising twist to the whole concept. And on top of that, you even voiced it in Japanese!

The only small thing that bothered me was that it did really borrow it's style rather heavily from typical animes, which was a slight (note, only very slight) bummer. But then again the style fitted the whole thing rather nicely, it's influences and sound being mainly japanese and all.

Overall, great stuff.

I don't like FF games that much but this movie kicked ass. I'm surprise that you used this for your japanese class. Great job doing this also changing some attacks to be school subjects, that was to funny. Hope you make another one.

So freakin awesome.

That ruled so much. The animation was great, and the storyline, silly as it was, is one of the best I've seen on Newgrounds, heh. Suppose that's not saying much when you look at the average net Flash cartoon. I thought the Japanese was great. You did a good job of using the grammar structures and vocabulary to know to construct the story. And your pronunciation is utterly excellent. My college Japanese IV class could learn from you. The only thing I noticed about the Japanese was you used 'tasukeru' for helping with homework, where it really should be 'tetsudau,' hope that'll help in the future! ^_~
