Amazing animation, although this is your first submission to NG, I highly doubt you just started tinkering with flash, and along came this. I would be incredibly impressed if it were completed in just the short span of a school year.
If school were actually like this movie, I might have gotten better grades.
The breakdown:
Graphics= 10
Animation was incredibly smooth, special effects were almost "Lucas-esque", it's more anime than Squaresoft, but let me say, it works, very well.
Style= 10
It is based on Final Fantasy but when I watch this, I'm not making comparisons to any FF, I am simply drawn in to this masterpiece as the plot develops. The intricate storyline puts the originality factor through the roof.
Sound= 10
I don't know how accurate the intonation is, but I'm sure someone will discuss it in a review. Voice acting was outstanding with every voice seeming to fit all characters perfectly. If Bahamut were to have a speaking voice and a personality...well you nailed it. Those who complain about having to read subtitles, FF is nothing but subtitles. I think some people don't like reading (books with lots of pictures).
Violence= 6
Not too violent, then again, neither is FF.
Interactivity= 5
The nifty QuickTime-like slider at the bottom, otherwise, it's a movie not a game.
Humor= 8
I would say the humor is on par with a FF movie, which could be described as dramatic and not comedic.
Overall= 10
Submissions just don't get any better than this.
Your teacher should let you have the remainder of the semester off as a reward for the obvious effort put into this. I look forward to your future submissions on Newgrounds.

As a fan of Final Fantasy, and a learner of Japanese, I must say that this deserves beyond full marks. The idea of speaking in Japanese was very refreshing. While being entertaining, this flash also proved to be very original. Keep up the good work!
