as good as some liscenced animes
that teacher of yours better have given you an A+ for that! From what little I know about the japanese language, it sounded accurate, and the artwork was perfect! An inspired plotline (and a fat chocobo cameo) finished the job nicely. The only suggestion I have is you should have gotten some friends to help you out on the voices, but it works fine either way.
This is probably the best flash I've seen on newgrounds. excellent work.

This is by far one of the best displays of art and animation talent on Newgrounds. The sound was great (the voices were lacking, but sense they were recorded yourself, it's okay) and the graphics were smooth (as was the animation). The entire thing reminded me of the Johnny Chimpo cartoon from Super Troopers (the mouth movements seemed very similar).
I can't take much anime, so I had to stop halfway through, but damn that was a great display of talent. If I was judging on entertainment alone you'd have gotten a lower score.
