I started watching this series when I was a teenager, 10 or 11 years ago. I instantly fell in love with it and was always impatiently awaiting the next instalment.
I have come back after around 8 years of not being on Newgrounds... This series means even more to me. It hits me absolutely and I am always brought to tears. I am married to a wonderful woman, though our cultures are ineffably different. People from both our cultures have a lot of prejudice for the other.
There really are the same clashes that you see in this series. Only through a heck of a lot of work and love and strength have we continued and showed everyone that they were wrong. We are happier than most couples I have seen, even in my own family. Now our families are much like the two in the last episode; they all love each other and work really well together - of course we still get the dirty stares from strangers in the street, the rude comments and so on; but I believe that we have made everyone in our families much more aware, much more loving and much more understanding.
Thank you for these videos. Your animation and storytelling are phenomenal. I for one will never forget what you have brought to the world with this, a story of true love conquering all.
