I absolutely loved this, which is weird, for someone like me to show the emotions I did for something like this. The Series is an origonal twist on a classic theme of Star-Crossed Lovers, and it's a very good job starting things off and introducing us to the main characters.
About them. Cute little Doki has that "Sweet Younger Sister" feel about her, and whenever I see her appear, I can't help but smile at her and her thousands of Hearts. Nabi, on the other hand, thankfully has his head still on planet Earth, or things would have been CRAZY! .... Well, they already are crazy, but they would have been crazier!
Music wize (since this is esentially a music video), this was absolutely and impossibly flawless. Every section of the video syncs with it's song, and has an over all incredibly upbeat feel about it, which is good, since Nabi's going to have to be upbeat if he want's to survive Doki's love. He he.
Animation wise, this would be the one thing that I'd understand ignorant people wanting to mock. It looks like you guys hand drew it instead of getting all fancy with technology. Some people find that a bad thing. Personally, I find the cute styles a good thing. And those that insult the lack of coloring are just plain stupid. If everything was every shade of the rainbow, the things that truly deserve notice, from the Anti-Animal-Interrelation Signs, to Nabi's trademark Scarf and Doki's depository of Hearts, wouldn't feel quite as special.
Since the underlying message, which it's very cool that you were entertaining but also had something for people to try to take back from this, is for people to keep an open mind, not just with Love, but in general (atleast that's what I take from this), I see, and fully understand not going with humans. It's a much smarter move for it to have animals instead of humans. My only question (and this is just out of personal curiosity) is... why a Cat and a Bunny? When was that the decision for the characters to be? I don't see a problem with it... I just wonder what made that the animal combination.
Over all, I absolutely loved "There She Is!!!". I've seen the rest of the series as well, and I have to say I'm not surprized that this has been given the rating that it has earned. It's well done, damn near if not perfect already, and you should be quite proud of yourselves for all the hard work you put into it. Congradulations.
