Where to begin?

I dunno, at first it seemed like an attempt for people with obscure, or outdated tastes to bash newer games.

When I saw it was set in the future, I thought it would be more harmless parody, but to my chagrin, it was as I'd originally thought.

I love MGS2 better than MGS, I love newer RPGs better than old ones, I love a lot of the newer, more innovative ideas game designers put into their games.

I mean, a lot of people claim that newer games are just rehashed crap, or unoriginal, yet the people saying that are just begging for ACTUAL rehashed, unoriginal crap.

Older games are much less varied than newer ones.

I believe that something innovative and refreshing is a much better game than anything taken completely in direct context from the (sub) genre it inhabits.

Your animation is well done, as well as the sounds and whatnot. It's a quality flash, but I disagree wholeheartedly with your opinions.

Obviously that's not enough to make this a bad movie, but still, I dislike being called a "n00b" or ungrateful for liking newer games rather than old ones, despite the fact that I HAVE played a large amount of games from older generations and loved them.

I'm not saying you called me that, but that mentality was definitely inferred through subtext.

If I've taken the meaning of your movie out of context, then forgive me, but if I haven't, then I'll stand by my original convention.

I understand that this is only a joke... but do you really think the companies will cotinue on and on with one type of game over and over with another number behind the name? by 2059, CEOs would have changed, companies gone under, and the whole guidelines for consoles will probably change. I mean jesus, I saw a honda commercial for a robot yesterday. Games wont stay the same, but I do see where you are coming from with the most of the games of these supposed great next gen systems are crap. most of them dont even live up to NES or SNES games, which I noticed you made no reference to, the only one was a link to the past, but that had nothing to do with a temple of time or anything... sure theres the collect stuff thing... but thats what's always kept it zelda. someday these ideas have to become tired, nothing lasts forever. But if you wanted to make references to how bad games are going to be in the future if this keeps up, you should've referenced some n64 games... the system that died... or perhaps jaguar or a 3DO system. but this was about the future, and your personal exaggeration of it. it wasnt very good, because the future seemed more set on the present presentations of games, sure it said game box... but - these were obviously pointed at the current systems. most of these are due for replacement soon... the gamecube was going to be called dolphin you know... I wonder what strange names we'll be faced with in the future... but you know what... I think silent hill and resident evil need be left alone, they are being reinnovated. both RE4 and SH4 look fantastic.
