An inside joke maybe?
I'm a gamer to an extent, i understand how series are dragged out for too long, and i've played the games you showed, but i cracked about one smile the whole way through. It wasn't really a comedy flash, more a let's poke fun at our pet hates about gaming in a ridiculous way flash.

I dont really like it, I don't think games will decline like that. They only get better!
Games do get better. But we have to pick on them, or it wouldn't be funny. Anything really great we just have to ignore...:)
