You have found the master sword!!!
.....again
that is pure comedy guys. i loved the final fantasy MVXXVMXMVXMVMXMVXMVXMVV box. that was allways a running joke with me and my little brother. the devil may cry intro was the best!!!
Funny and True
I can see that exact thing happening in 2059. Good job.
Excellent movie
This movie was pretty funny, because I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened in a couple of years...
ROTFL! Took time to get moving but certainly funny
The intro text/voice took so damned long (and there was an it's/its mixup, too! The worst possible grammatical mistake and it was made by an Englishman! Oh, the sadness! #;-}>)... and you could disturbingly hear Egoraptor's tongue on his lips and him breathing and other such mouth noises during the pauses between sentences... I really really really recommend adding some not-too-loud background music to that entire introduction so that little things like that are covered up, and so we don't fall asleep before the flash actually starts. #;-}>
Now, once we got into the video game store... the MGS5 flashback was funny as hell. The automap didn't seem to be moving along with Snake-in-a-wheelchair, but aside from that anal nitpick it was hilarious, especially the items in the itemselect thing and him falling asleep.
How is Tom Fulp still in his 20s, BTW? Did he get frozen until 2058 in a cryo chamber? The Link bit was okay, but the Ghetto Party thing was a bit hard to believe. I mean, in 2059 I really doubt that 1990s rappers are going to be known at all.
And hey, the FF INSANELY-LONG-ROMAN-NUMERAL-THAT-ISN'T-EVEN-POSSIBLE bit looked like it was going to turn into a bit about Final Fantasy, but that was the whole joke! Ahhh well.
Aren't most of the Mario games on the "latest mario releases" shelf already in existence, BTW? Or was that the point. #;-}> Anywho, while you painted a depressingly funny picture of future video gaming lameness and repetitiveness and lackoforiginalitiness... I take comfort in that fact that I'll be dead by 2059 most likely, and even more importantly, since the early-mid 90s, I've been much more of a COMPUTER gamer than a video gamer. Whew, I feel teh relief. #;-}>
One last thing: I wasn't able to set quality to low (as I need to for my computer's sake) by right clicking... why disable that? Oh well. Oh, and don't joke about Another Day 6 taking until 2059 at least. That's just not funny. ;_; Neither was the anti-Another Day shit in the outtakes. HORRIBLE! #;-}>
And one last, last thing: someone asked in the credits what the difference between a producer and an executive producer is. From starwars.com regarding Lucas as exec producer and Rick McCallum as regular producer:
"For Star Wars, George Lucas is the Executive Producer because he finances the movie and is also the overall architect of the picture. He's the one we work for. Whereas I'm in the traditional producer role of coordinating the thousands of tiny details that need to come together to get a picture made."
so there ya go.
