I don't ever want to see the souce code.
Holy f*ck. This is, by far, the best Sonic emulation I've ever seen on Flash. But because even Flash has its limits to how many physics you want, it's always a little glitchy. Examples:
1) If you stop halfway up a ramp of any grade, you will ALWAYS slide back to the bottom. In almost all of the Sonic games, you could stop at the middle of a slope.
2) As you get off a grind rail (which rock) at an angle to the ground, you might "hit" the ground and stop completely.
3) If you hit a wall, you bounce back a little bit, sometimes making you fall into those damn spikes. In the original, you hit the wall and slide down straight.
...and other things of this nature. But that's nit-picking. This will never be as good as the original GBA game (with or without the GBA, thanks to emulation), but the physics, man! THE PHYSICS!! It must've been damn near impossible to get the jumping, and the spin dashes, and the change of speed due to hills, the springs, the grind rails (which rock), OMFG--*gasp*...just right!
On an unrelated note, my computer is crappy and I need a new one to play this without lag.
Oh, I forgot. For the stupid people who think I'm insulting the author, "It will never be as good as the original GBA game"...but even Flash has its limits, and this comes pretty damn close to both.
