Dude, you should be proud.
Being a programmer myself, I know how much of a pain in the ass it is to recreate Sonic's movements and gravity principals. In fact, I tried to make a clone of Sonic, but it didn't come out anywhere as close as yours did. You get a 7 since it renders rather slow... 10 otherwise. You should be proud. How long did it take you to get your engine this good?
Not bad...
...But not the best either. Good try, graphics not the proper size, but the real sounds make up for it. It didn't feel like a Sonic game though.

1. too slippy 2. wheres knuckles glide feature? 3. u need the short time of invincibility after getting hurt i got slammed into spikes too many times. screens too small. those things aside. Probably the best sonic game ever 2 thumbs up
