If someone from Sega were to see this, they would shit their pants. This is amazing! I almost forgot that i was looking at a monitor playing with a keyboard, it was brilliant. I did miss Knuckles floating and climbing abilities, but no one's perfect. All you can do is get better from here, just keep it up, and try to make this better than it already is!
