i loved all of the sonic games from sega! I like the addition of Cream too. for those of you who don't have sonic 1 for dreamcast, that thing she had with her is called a chao. It's a thing that hatches from an egg, and you take care of it. It's worth buying a dreamcast and sonic just for the chao!
Anyway, one thing you need to add is the thing where your character blinke after he or she gets hurt. that way, you can get off the spikes when you land on them. :\

Well Great Game i have to say one thing i didnt like though when u get hit in the normal sonic u always had a few seconds of invinciblity to run aaround it was more of an instant death in ur game but its great
THIS is a masterpiece.
when I first clicked the Play this game button, I espected this to be a crappy glitchy game made by an insane sega fanboy... I was wrong, totally wrong.
THIS is what I call a masterpiece. I never saw something as good as this since Megaman Next and believe me, to equal Megaman Next is an extremely hard feat! This game got perfect GFX, great music (even if the boss theme loop a little too early but that's VERY minor), and flawless controls (for a flash game). The game's gameplay is a carbon copy of the original sonic games which means that the gameplay is GREAT! The game is really fast (for a flash game with such heavy use of GFX anyway) and glitches aren't as common as you could think. Furthermore, not only is the game fast but the level design is great too! Add to this great boss battles (too bad there's only 2 of them) and you get ultimate flash sonic!
My only real gripe with the game is the lack of levels. Sure, there are unlockables... but wouldn't it have been too much to make a few extra zones and bosses?
Anyway... this game feature awesome GFX, sounds, music, and gameplay making this THE ultimate sonic flash... until something better is done (which will probably take a while!)
All in all, this is really up there in the top 10 of the best flash games along Megaman Next! If you like Sonic, play this game! If you don't like Sonic, play this game! With such brillant gameplay, you cannot go possibly wrong.
Awsome Game
The graphics are amazing for a flash game,love it,very addictive,sound is not that good,you should make a another one like a Sonic & Knuckles remake. Overall it was one of the best games i have played on the internet.
