Great. Not perfect, but great.
The textures are a little screwy on ramps. But I think this took a LOT of work. definitely gets a 5.
The password makes the game playable, too. I like very much.
Quite a good remake.
I used to hate Sonic games, but that was before I had played the side-scrolling ones.
This game does a pretty good job of emulating the experience of the old games.

Personally i preferred the earlier MegaDrive sonic games. This seems very much like the Gameboy Advanced Sonics.
But .... this is great!!! It's an amazing rendition of an all time CLASSIC game.
Everything's there, the characters, the fast beautiful levels, the really cool loops and rails to slide down, and cool looking enemies too.
Think of the possibilities, remember that 'create your own sonic character' thing that was on here a while ago? Wouldn't it be amazing to create your own sonic character, give him moves (out of gliding, double jumping, flying etc.)
and actually get to play with it?
Just an idea lol, im sure it'd be hard to do.
