This was the first Sonic game I ever played in my life - and first introduction to the Sonic series.
When you have a fan-made game that operates at the same capacity as an original title, you know you've got something special. If you had told me in 2004 SEGA themselves put this out, I'd believe you - it runs exactly as a Sonic game should: vibrant colors, exciting music, and tight, fast movement for each character. I'm only sad Knuckles doesn't have gliding, even though I still occasionally press the spacebar in the air hoping for a different outcome lol.
Dennis, wherever you are, I hope SEGA hires you for future developments if they haven't already. Thank you for making the childhood of so many, like myself, complete.
It was nice playing this game again after all these years. But the controls were the most frustrating part of this game, and made the experience less enjoyable than it could of been had the controls of been better. But this was made nearly 20 Years ago at the time of writing this comment, so i wont be to harsh as i did like this game since it's one of my childhood classics.
