really good
i loved all of the sonic games from sega! I like the addition of Cream too. for those of you who don't have sonic 1 for dreamcast, that thing she had with her is called a chao. It's a thing that hatches from an egg, and you take care of it. It's worth buying a dreamcast and sonic just for the chao!
Anyway, one thing you need to add is the thing where your character blinke after he or she gets hurt. that way, you can get off the spikes when you land on them. :\

that must of took you forever to do and god knows im not a patient person but n e who wow..... you know the only thing that bothered me was that you couldnt be doctor robotonic or wut eva that would of been cool... i like being the bad guys....

Not saying its a bad game, but NG calling it the "best flash game ever" is a little bit... WRONG!
First, the controlling sucked, it didn't respond like a sonic game should. If you jump, you can barely control the curv of the jump.
Secondly, why the hell can't Knuckles glide? He's supposed to be able to glide, and also climb walls.
Finally, I was impressed by the music. It gives a true nod to the classics. I hope to see more of your works, but try to improve upon the above problems. ^^
Good But...
i really like the game its very well made the only problem i have with it is that knuckles cant climb walls or glide, seeing how knuckles is my fav. of them all it really bothers me but otherwise good job...maybe u could try fixing the knuckles thing and changing the name...maybe...plz...do it!
Great game
Slowdown kills it though, i even DL'd it and it runs slow. Same Sonic pros, same Sonic cons, which is to say its a perfect Sonic game.
