as a huge sonic fan id say...
...this is a great game, my computer is 2 slow to handle the right speeds, and i feel that this game needs higher and faster speeds, as always introduce a speed hump, a power bar, whateva' u wanna' call it. Music shits me, but so do most things. hope to here back from u. chai'

This is, in fact, the best game on newgrounds.
In response to arch-exxodus's review, you are right for the most part, except I wouldn't sell them so short, it's only obvious how much detail, and how many details that could only be found in a Sonic game, were put into this game (i.e. being able to defy gravity by going into loop; I almost felt like I was playing my Genesis again ^_^)
The abilities thing I would agree with, Sonic doesn't even have his insta-shield, yet the game has the Angel Island, act 2 theme which was in Sonic 3... hrm
