This is great but....
....there are a few things that need sorting out.
1)The way sonic jumps is a bit off, he jumps far too high for just one button tap, he should only really jump a certain height and he doesn'thave any air control when he stands still in the sega version but he does in yours.
2)The spring boards that you jump on are a bit weird too they sorta only spring youup to a certain height depending on where you are bouncing. The sega version jus bounced higher the more you bounced on it.
Apart from those 2 things the game waspretty cool, the first few levels definately beat the Sega version.

best flash game ever!!!
ive played a moderate amount of flash games, and this I can say is even better than some of the sonic games on sega. I just regret the resolution isn't bigger to experience a bigger version of this masterpiece.
Great Imitation
This is the greatest sonic imitation I've ever seen, and can hardly tell it apart from a licenced Sonic game. Very nice work, deserves much applause.
Great reproduction
There are a few minor things that could use fixing:
1. Sonic (and all the other characters, for that matter) is supposed to have a few seconds of invulnerability after he's been hit. This is to prevent cheesy things, like the player being hit by an enemy directly into spikes and dying, from happening.
2. The game is pretty strict about use of the spin dash; it tends to make you jump unless you're standing *perfectly* still when you press down to use it. It's a minor nuisance.
Other than that, great work!
