If this was made rushed, I can't even begin to imagine what you could make taking your time. It definently got my 5.
Anyways, maybe you could try and delve a little deeper, try and develop something like the system that "Arrogancy" game uses, that would be cool. Just a thought.

Impressive! Not for a while have I seen a brand new sim date come out (errr except for the one's i've programmed). It had new ideas and extra games inclusive. Not just the typical just answer questions sim date. I have a few tips if you are interested that I found from experience however. It is always cool to be able to move around on your own free will and not just how the game is set (EVA4 made me learn this). Giveing people more of variety and choices makes things more interesting. But overall i can see what you were getting at and I think it was well done for a demo or "done on a wim".
Ps : If you wish to remove the arrow and have the heart completely as the cursor in the first frame of the movie in the preloader add the actionscript:
Mouse.hide();

Oh, you're the guy that made the Love Hina sim. That's cool. I did try to keep away from the typical sim, as you said. I would've made a lot more exploration options if this was going to be a big project, but I hadn't intended for it to be.
As far as I knew, I did remove the arrow right away. I definitely added that script someplace, and I thought it was directly attached to the cursor. On my computer, I can't see the actual cursor, so everything's fine on this end.
