You probably forgot to seperate your movieclips. Only thing I can think of.
song....was....annoying
the song was annoying, it kept playing through. lots of people have MX 2004, and the panels/instance thing is not right for 2004, you must go to the bottom left corner and name it ground. I got very confused when the character was supposed to land on the ground, because it didn't tell you how to move the plus/cross sign thing. a very good tutorial, but it should be updated to the 2004 edition, so less people are confused. thank you for reading

Ahh maybe someday I will update it, I've left flash for some time now but am about to return, I think. Hehe. Anyhow I made this while in Flash 5 I believe and so that is why things are different, but they seem to be so similar that most people do not get messed up. Thanks for commenting.

ok listen . . for all of you who have MX 2004.... there is no /panels=instance .. or what ever its could ... for mx it is on (PROPERTIES) on <Instance name> .. there youll put the (ground)and (itemslot1).. so now i need help for one thing .. How do i pick up the item ???? =/

I'm using flash MX 2004 and I didn't know which type of document to make...
And that music's starting to piss me off to be honest...
