when you said "right-click and go to panels" I DONT GAVE PANELS! i even went to the top of the screen and searched over and over again. HELP ME! P.S. i have Flash MX 2004

BEST TUTORIAL IVE SEEN
i know this is an old tutorial but i just looked for one to help me recreate mario/ learn gravity or something to make my character go down and you completed that easily. even the thing with the character going throught the ground halfway, you told how to fix it. Im not really new at flashm but i did not know how to do this and i can now creat alot more in my half finished games lol . thnx alot you rock

There's no actions button when you right click because the author of this has an older version of flash, in the newer versions, go to window(up at the top, beside help)->actions and put it in there.
This is a good tutorial, although my character keeps falling through the fround after I jump... I'm confused.

i got macromedia flash 7.2 pro and i right clicked my guy and i could not find the action button, please reply

It is actually on the bottem of the screen in the newer versions of Macromedia Flash. There are panels which you can click to bring up options. Of the 3 or 4 panels down there one is an action panel. That is where you must copy and place the text.
It Hurts...
This Game Is Dumb. I have tried over, and over, and over again to get this game to work but it doesn't! I do exsactly what you say but no matter what I do my character doesent move at all and just floats in mid-air! Fix Your Game Then Mabye I'll Try Again.
