The Russian on my last review really sucked. I just love the language, so I try to use it whenever I can (third year Russian major -- I'll be studying in St. Petersburg, Russia for five weeks this summer).
Kol, I can't even begin to tell you how superb your animations are. They're very monochromatic, but that's what makes them so good. The watcher is forced to look beyond the colors to see the story that lies beyond. I love the common Slavic/Russian mythological undertones (I'm interpreting the bird-looking thing as being the Baba Yaga in one of Her many forms, though I'm probably wrong -- it's how I interpret it).
There is a great deal of symbolism in your work that gives it an amazing amount of meaning. Even though the characters don't say anything, they say much more than any spoken words through their actions. This is truly a mastery of animation. From what I can understand of the Russian lyrics, the lyrics are very fitting for the subject matter and tone of the films.
Newgrounds is truly blessed to have your presence and artistic genius on this site. If only everyone could take lessons from you!
