amazing! it happened soo fast, and undefined that it left nothing to ponder because of the ending. 665 redeemed himself by the puppet.... it was a poetic journey

What's the purpose of the story? Is it some kinda metaphor for the mask people wear in life or what? This crap's been bugging me since 2003 when I first saw it and I've been trying to figure out what it means ever since.
