Reviews for "Viewers Like You"

A very odd movie

It's a funny take on the "Viewers Like You" notice before and after many PBS shows. Something tells me that you were in a similar situation as our Plain 'n' Bland buddies, though, in that you probably had to watch hours after hours of PBS due to some technical glitch, or even a parental one ( such as, when your parents won't buy cable, so your entire childhood is spent in front of the TV set learning about the mating habits of the Southern Equadorian tree frog and watching Lamar read children's books to you on "Reading Rainbow" while your friends got to watch fun cartoons on Nickelodeon and eat things like Oreos and Cheetos while your family was of the health-food persuasion, and all you saw when you opened up your pantry on Saturday mornings was a box of wheat germ and celery salt seasoning.... stupid hippie, cable-hating parents... )

Anyway, my favorite part was the "dispatching Jehovah's witnesses" command on the computer. That's hilarious. It's an original movie, that's for sure. Good work

I watched Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers all the time as a kid, but not by force. I'd assume most kids brought up in the U.S. did. Most of my inspiration was from people talking about how scary Teletubbies was (which I have actually never seen) and from things like "Bert is Evil" and various other comments and theories about shows on PBS.
As for the whole health food thing... wow. I am so glad I don't have parents like that. Are you just venting some frustration here?

hmm

It was alright not too bad, seemed kinda long I didnt wanna finish watching this...

Hey

You're a crackpot! (You must've seen that coming)

The originality of this is great, I love it. The little cartoon at the beginning should be made into a bigger animation itself. That hamster too should have his own damn talkshow, "Talking with Hammy" Hamsters rule..

Great movie. I only have 1 complaint, and 1 question; both in correlation:

Did you use a hair dryer for your grinding sounds? (lol)

And my complaint is that the grinding sounds chunking was kinda annoying.

But that's it! That's the only complaint I have (which is quite minute in my book). So good job! I'll definitly keep an eye out for future animations by D_R_P due to originality.

Thank you.

I'm surprised you're the first reviewer to call me a crackpot! (Review #28-32, something like that)
In answer to your question, the grinding sound was a paper shredder (paper goes in = people dying; no paper = spinning blades). I thought it got a little annoying, too, but it's better than no sound at all.

Meh, they dont add up...oh well

It was ok. I thought it was funny, but it wasn't funny enough to get a high rating. Worth watching, but not really high on my list

yeah well tough
