Well I'll start by saying I hate stickmen. No sound effects, but great music. Funny content, but it didn't make much sense.

Well, the movie was obviously anti-stickmen. They are there to symbolize bad flash movies, which are usually stickmen. If you'd pay more attention to the site's news you'd know this is to promote the new voting system. The weapons represent the different levels of voting power users can acheive by depositing their expereince points they accumulate by voting. The 2 god like charaters are Tom (Newground's creator) and Ross (Newground's Back-end Programmer, who made it possible for us to do all this cool stuff). I let the thundering beats of the music act as my sound effects. I think putting voices and sound effects would have detracted from the mood the movie was trying to create.

Doesn't really live up to the hype, in my opinion. Still interesting and the drawn characters are lookin' good. I recognize TOm but who's the other guy. Doesn't look like you, man. I have no clue what was gonig on with the naked old guy, though. Would've rathered something else than sticks too, as well as some more level cameos. Ya know...I think a remake of this would go over really well, come to think of it.

If someone else had done this about any other subject it wouldn't get more than 3/5

Note that it's almost 10 years old. Back then the site was smaller and it was used to promote the NG experience system. It captured the mood of the site at the time. Newgrounds was being flooded with crappy stick men movies and we encouraged users to create accounts, level up, and use their voting power to blam crappy Flash, and protect the good Flash that was being lost in a sea of crap.
