Some more advanced animating techniques (blurs, shadows) and more detailed backgrounds would have helped this feature a lot, but even in its present form, it's not bad. Pretty cool.
I know this isn't the place for it, but how about creating a page that explains the new ratings system ALONG with pictures of the levels?
Yeah, I'd like to experiment with some of those effects, and do nice backgrounds. I was trying to not put to much time into this project, I was in a rush to get it done. We will create a page explaining the new system. So where are your flash movies with all these cool blur effects and detail backgrounds? ;) Goldilocks is a good example to follow for that stuff.

Well I'll start by saying I hate stickmen. No sound effects, but great music. Funny content, but it didn't make much sense.
Well, the movie was obviously anti-stickmen. They are there to symbolize bad flash movies, which are usually stickmen. If you'd pay more attention to the site's news you'd know this is to promote the new voting system. The weapons represent the different levels of voting power users can acheive by depositing their expereince points they accumulate by voting. The 2 god like charaters are Tom (Newground's creator) and Ross (Newground's Back-end Programmer, who made it possible for us to do all this cool stuff). I let the thundering beats of the music act as my sound effects. I think putting voices and sound effects would have detracted from the mood the movie was trying to create.
I am truly inspired.
Please make more of these. Your animation is perfect and the golden sword looks so beautiful, must have it, urge to steal golden sword rising. New Grounds forever!

and isn't it wierd how the music fits the exact time as the weapons are thrown from the cloulds
It's not wierd, it's called streaming your audio, so you can syncronize your animation to your sound track.

:) Very powerful, Wade. Sloth deserves that the gods of the heavens send down the weapons of war. And great weapons they are. The protectors and saviors will stop anyone who touches Sloth in the wrong way. Thanks for helping him in this animation.
