Drawing of a pelvis. Nowhere near done. My teacher does not care for finished products, as long as he gets the jist.

Thanks Xeptic and sneakers too. I don't know when it will be released yet, I'm working at a much slower pace as i used to, but i think it'll be worth the wait :)
The title is Shaped of Clay :)
And 23450, that's a bloody awesome drawing. I love seeing strange objects like that. Stuff that looks scary and surreal at first and then it turns out to be something we all have lol. The charcoal works stellar also.
The opening scene for a flash i'm working on.
Thanks alot for the feedback guys. Nice to hear. And while i dont have any more work that is a good as the pelvis, i do have some more sitting around. Here is a peice of popcorn.
less then a month into the semester, should have alot better ones comming.

Hokey Smokes.....that's one big piece of popcorn....wasn't sure what it was at first....looks awesome, so does the pelvis. Great job. I was never good with charcol drawings, or drawings that detailed.

And considering it was drawn on a peice of paper about 3 feet long and 2 feet high kinda makes it even bigger.
But, might as well keep going with this. Here is some fabric.

Thanks for liking all this stuff guys. Now if only i could transfer this new fround art skill into a flash project, i might actually be able to make a dent in the portal, and possibly front page. < : |

That will be pretty hard since it will take forever to animate something like that. But perhaps you can make backgrounds in this manner and use another style for characters

I heard the expression, "butterflies in the stomach.", but that's ridiculous :D
Neat pic btw
A remake of a picture I did of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII.
The enlarged picture can be seen here.

Looking good. Love the hand holding the sword.
Here is another popcorn peice. It was drawn wierd though. We had white paper, covered it in Charcoal until it was completely black, and then erased to create the object. Subtractive drawing. It was fun. : )
This is the result of my second time ever touching Flash...I think it's alright.
Nothing special but hey I like it.

Thats a cool picture. You should try a flash with that, a lot of people like that kinda stuff!

Looks alot better then mosts peoples second try. Maybe you could add some shading though, like what Sneakers does with his characters.

Wow...never heard of subtractive art....looks amazing. I was always envious of people like you in art class. I was never good at the realistic stuff....my mind sees things differently. :) Great pic btw/

Thanks...though don't know if I could animate characters like that....I only have done tweenmations rather then animations. :)

I think thats what he is implying. The character models are very reminiscent of series such as decline and tommorows nobody, which are pretty much all tween animated. Your character would look nice animated.

Thanks. I will have to fool around with it a bit later though but I'll get around to it. I have the first finished picture I ever done in flash. I got the idea from dexters lab but the whole thing was pretty much drawn from scratch. This is what it turned out to be:

Looks good as well. Keep working on your characters, give them a little more of a competant definition. Right now they look a little random, as far as design is concerned.
And here is another by me. Just a couple small sketches, but im wondering if i need to do anymore with the basics to define male from female.
I drew my favorite character witchblade in flash.

I like it...though the lips seem off...It could be me, cause I can't put my finger on it. Good job though....good job.

Sneakers: Very nice character design and good voice acting. I did sometimes have a feeling that some scenes were moving a bit slow, but that could be me. Also, maybe adding subtitles is a good idea!
Toxicomb: Lovely slick animation. Really like the idea so far and cool colour use. Can't wait to see how it will continue
