I got it in the mail yesterday! I listened to it on the way to work and I was laughing like crazy. It's a damn good album, I think it might be better than poodle hat. Anyone else have it yet?

I just got it in the mail today. And when you check out the special features, look for the NG logo in "Virus Alert". :)

I greatly love weird Al and have since his Running with Scissors CD (first time I heard of him, found his other songs) I went to his concert at the Minnesota state fair in 2003 and I got a T-Shirt and it was an amazing show. I would love to join this club. My favorite songs are:
White And Nerdy
Genius In France
Trigger Happy
Living With a Hernia
Dare To Be Stupid

I will be getting his CD sometime this week.

The first album I got was Bad Hair Day, but I had heard of him before that. BHD was one of those cd's where it just clicked, I knew I was a fan and wanted to hear more.

Cat in the kettle is not a weird Al song. Many people label funny songs as being done by Al. He has a list (i posted a link to it a page or so back) that tells you what songs he has done. He does not take credit for these falsely labeled songs btw.

That site i posted lists who did that one I belive. I'm a tad too lazy to check up on it right this minute.

I saw the animated video's today. Damn they were awesome! Virus alert and close but no cigar are my favorites.

Finally got it! I'm addicted to Trapped in the Drive Thru (hysterical) and I'll Sue Ya. Pancreas was the worst on the CD and probably one of his worst songs (just an opinion).

But overall this CD kicks ass.

It just drags on a little too long and I think it was just a bad idea for a song.

But the other originals are great. Close But No Cigar is fun.

I was wondering if Al put on one of his "marathon" songs on this album like Albuquerque or Genius in France? those songs are always hilarious.

Trapped In the Drive Thru. Which we've said before is a parody of R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet so like the original it's a long song.

You could try ordering from his site but I think he said the UK version is being released later but check his site. Anyways, I'm so happy I'm getting the Cd today :)

Currently sold out at Play.com, but I have it on order, so it should be with me in maybe a week or so.

My friend let me listen to his copy of Straight Out of Lynwood yesterday and it was great. My favorite was Confessions Part 3 or Trapped in the Drive thru.

Yeah I like those two songs as well, though I have to lean more towards confessions as it has a better tune in my opinion.

Hmmm, I was watching the music video for Don't Download This Song on TV last night via On-Demand (a system where you can order TV shows, movies, and music videos as well as other stuff). They also had White & Nerdy.

Anyway, when they mentioned the file-sharing sites they bleeped them out.

I know it's to prevent the downloading of music but... COME ON!

Seriously, Weird Al has been one of my many childhood role models.

And I recentally got "Straight Outta Lynwood," and I already love it. It's a shame "You're Pitiful" wasn't released on it. :'(
