Some great news for you guys today. First off there is a brand new never heard before song by Al available on his site for download. For free. The song is called "You're Pitiful" a parody of "You're Beautiful". Also in the news type thing he has been recorded 10 songs so far for the new album, but no word yet on when it will be done or what it's even called.

And the weird al show dvd comes out soon.

I've heard this song, it's funny (plus I think James Blunt is a little overrated, so this makes it even better)

Amish Paradise is the best for being true to the original music, you can actually put it over Coolio's Gangster's Paradise and sing it to the same tune.

Jerry Springer always catches me out. I keep trying to get the fast lyrics in, but fall at the last hurdle.

Ever listen to "Hardware store"? Now the fast part in that is hard to memorize!

There are a ton attributed to his names. What if God Smoked Cannibus? is one. Can't think of any others though. There are a bunch of them, and I know I read it somewhere on the website where he says these aren't his.

Yeah, these have sometimes been made without the authority of the original artist (Hello, lawsuit) or are potentially offensive, e.g. Hooker on a Corner by Christina Aguialiera (Al did Weenie in a Bottle)

He wants positive publicity, and really takes care to steer away from controversy

I'm pretty sure Al did not do weenie in a bottle. He has a list of all the songs he has done somewhere on his site to clarify any questions on whether or not the song is his.

Not yet, but maybe if I remember to check the site I will if he tours when he comes out with his new album. His last tour ended two years ago, so he is do for another.

I saw him once during his poodle hat tour. One of the best live shows I have ever been to.
