Go for it! You're pretty lucky right now, the next few people ahead of you on the top 50 blams are lined up within a 1000 of each other, all of them.

Recon is not so lucky. He's not only got to hit 8000 blams, but 9000 blams, 10,000 blams... and then beyond, to however many the lowest of the 10,000+ (aside from him at that point) blam club has at that point, to gain just ONE SPOT on the list. Ah well.

It's much easier at that point to get up on the protectors list, since there's only 2 people over 10,000. Then again, protects are hard to come by right now. Let's hope that changes as the summer goes by....

Who cares about the amount of specific points you have as long as your total is high your ok and will get your added power....

True, true, but... for most of us, we like to pass people on any list we're on, and that means you've naturally got to care about specific amounts of points, because how else would you know if you've passed someone? #;-}>

Aside from that, I just like certain numbers. I'm about to hit 6666 blams, and that'll be cool. In a week or so, I'll hit 6666 protects, and that'll be cool, too. For instance. #;-}>

And lastly... it actual numbers didn't really mean much to you, and you just cared about getting your voting power up and getting ranks... then are you saying you'd be happy if the entire top 50 was over 30,000 points, all Supreme Commanders, and you're number 51, but down at 10,000 points, with a 20,000 climb before you can even get NEAR the top 50 list?

People just like to be on lists and pass people, yanno? What I can say. It's like being in an auto race, and wanting to increase your place in the standings by passing people in each race, I guess.

No prob. Yeah. #6 may be no problem, but you're in the same spot on this list as I am over on the saves list. It's gonna be just a BIT harder to pass Nemesis for #5 for you here, just as it is gonna be hard for me to pass thisisasignin for #4 over there.

Sure thing. Yep, that first 1500 point hurdle is always one of the hardest adjustments to make.

I mean, %age wise, the jump from 100 to 500 when you make Police Lieutenant is really high, but if you have a good rate, it's no prob. The jump from 500 to 1000 after you make Sergeant is a toughy, and it's doubled, but... somehow it didn't seem that hard. Plus, it's easy to tell from a glance how far you are from a rankup.

But once you hit Praporshchik, things just get confusing and slow. 1500 may not be double 1000, but it feels like it might as well. Plus there's less people to pass. Plus the rankup amounts aren't intuitive anymore (compared to 4000-5000-6000-7000-8000, at least, 9500-11000-12500-14000-15500 is a bit hard to remember... or is it just me? #;-}>)

And after that, 2000 doesn't seem like such a big deal (to me right now, perhaps... we'll see if I can still say that once I hit 15,500 and am staring at a 2000 gap to Colonel! #;-}>).

Anyway, good luck. You have one great advantage right now: 10,000 is a GREAT goal, and good incentive to get those next 500 points.

It provides a kinda "mini-rankup" between the distance Second Lt. and First Lt. markers.

Well that's gonna take a little longer... also lost a few points today due to suddenly deciding to upgrade my system (from 1.4GHz CPU/512SDRam to 2.6GHz/1024DDR Ram - I use the PC constantly for graphics, Flash & webdesign so it's definitely NOT a wasted investment... honest...)

I don't know the exact numbers, but there are AT LEAST 1,100 people in that club of yours, and there is no way all of them can be in a top 50 list. No shame buddy, no shame.
