For those of you not in the know, there was a bet that if moongod made it to 1,000 or more BPs this week, I'd do an update this weekend. I made the wager back on Wednesday or so when he was around 750, so even chances he could make it. Well, it would appear that he did, so here we are on this fine Saturday morning with me stuck behind the computer doing a list instead of stuck behind a computer doing taxes. ~shrug~ Since I compiled it already for moongod in thread, at some point I'm going post a ranked list of 1k/week in the archives. Right now there are 4 entries for fixit. When you get to the list, you'll see there's a slight tweak to the list. Since even for fixit making 1k/week is so tough, people who have managed it will get their names in red, rather than gold for the week. Additionally, they'll get a shiny star next to their name that will carry over to future updates. Hush. I wanted a star for pulling it off myself, so I had to pass them out to fixit and moongod too. Yes, I'll be using different colors for 5 and 10 times when needed.

High blanks are 134 and 135. One is falling, the other is climbing. I have no idea which is which lol We are currently at 529 of about 653 Elite Guards listed here (81%), and a whopping 20 people moved up from the Captains list.

For those of you who missed it in thread, after the last Update, Pure_LionHeart mentioned that he was actually an EG Corporal by the time the list was posted, rather than having "merely" ranked up to PFC. In the discussion, I mentioned that we had only had someone get two ranks between weekly updates a couple of times during the List's history, and that chances were he'd be the third come this update. Well, not only did he make a double Rank-up this week, jumping from PFC to Sergeant since tlast week, so did bryanbjt223. As if that weren't enough, CrazyMuffin cranked up from the Captains list past Private to PFC and 2 others were within 100 of pulling a double as well. So this week our 85 Rankings were made by 82 people. Congratulations to this update's Rank-ups:

Yeah, this is great. The reason me & KineticMonkey got so many this week is because we had a little competition with each other & a couple other users in the Addicted To NG Club to see who could get the most B/P for the week. It ends Monday, but I think i'm gonna win. What sucks though is just missing the 1000 per week like you said.

I've just filled in some web-based form with my ISP to bitch about the "accessing your page" problem, hopefully that will sort it out. Having said that, my provider isn't the best at providing customer service. It's much easier just to provide an email address rather than have four or five pages of forms to fill :-(

This is typical of how it's going to be over the summer. The makers have the spare time to put things together, and we have more time to vote. Spring breaks vary a bit, but this is Passover and Easter, so no matter where you live, one or the other is a vacation time. So how do you like your star ;-)

You guys should compete more often ;-) Anyone in that BP race I don't have listed that I should? Good luck at it. Kinetic is making a good push, but with only two days left I think you've got him.

Since the start and end times of a "week" are arbitrary, you'll run into missing out on the 1k for the list like you missed out on a double-rank last week. If you were doing something like resting up a bit before you started that competition, and it straddles my "week" like it did this time, you're bound to have that come up a lot.

We are going to compete more often actually. We are going to try to have weekend contests just like the one we are embroiled in now.

It looks like me & Kinetic are the only ones left competing. I can't remember if TheGreatMorph & -Anesthtic- are still going & I think lilskater lost count(We were competing for how much to get in a week, so that current totals had nothing to do with it and anyone could attempt to win).

Cheers for that. biology_dude was the other one I was expecting to come from behind with hermannator, so although I'll pass browncow soon, I'll get passed again to nullify the gain, and I'm not moving faster than anyone else right above me. Arse. Ah well, I'll just keep plugging away I guess. At least I'm making some progress on getting towards the top 50 blammers list, a large chunk of my points are coming from blams at the moment. And I'm getting close to the top 400 of experience as well, the 500-400 stretch has been fairly rapid compared to what I thought it would be like.

Full list will be updated in ~20 minutes with the below adds included.

Brought the Top 50 Archives back up to date. I'm going to be in and out of town all week next week ... Oma turns 96 on Wednesday =) ... so those are going to be problematic.
