It's not so much not wanting to have to pass Stormwarden twice... it was more about not wanting to be PASSED by Stormwarden.

I quickly got back ahead of them and clearly face no danger from them (for now! #;-}>), but it was an experience I didn't want to have repeat...

and by waiting at 16261 while Storm was at 16262, I ensured I wouldn't have to undergo it again.

However, he was only at 16270 or so when I got back, so it wouldn't have been that hard to pass him and stay ahead with about 10 extra points.

in any event, I'm more than 100 ahead of him now, no worries. And Nemesis is staying steady at 17817 or whatever, hasn't moved in days. I'll pass him around the end of the month, I predict, maybe first week of October if I slow down a bit.

After I get that #7 spot, though, it's going to be tough, if not impossible, to ever get #6... unless thisisasignin and crono pass RyoHahn, who stays relatively motionless, and I become a General. Then I might get #6. As it is, Crono and thisisasignin are nearly impossible to catch. I'll be happy with being a semi-permanent #7, I guess.

I was passed... 3 times I think, since I stopped doing much for about 2 months, ryohahn and storm passed me. When I started depositing I was able to easily get #4 back from Storm. THEN fixit ended up passing me (Damn robot) and I just recently took back spot #3. I don't need to "keep count" of how many times I've been passed, and by whom, I just REMEMBER it, man. :::shrugs::: I can't tell you, for instance, at what point amounts the passings happened at, or what date they happened at, but I believe it was around April and it was either during Master Sergeant or Sergeant Major... maybe way back in Sergeant First Class, though. Not sure.

Now, if I'd been passed 15 times or something, if I kept track of that number and who passed me, that would be a bit insane, yes. If Spancker keeps track of who passes him (and sometimes it seems that he does, since he's always saying we "attacked" him while he was gone if we pass him, heh!), THAT would be insane. It's been like 25 people or something.

Anyway, no it doesn't matter, but it WOULD be a pretty cool stat to lay claim to if you'd NEVER been passed on the top 50 list, don't you think? I'm not sure anyone CAN claim that except for ramagi (and I'm not even sure on that). It's nothing I obsess about, but let me phrase it this way:

In addition to my usual stock work, lots of baking, trying to hammer the graphs out to reasonable proportions, and character selection, I got another meter of books in. A meter as in stacked on top of one another, over a meter tall. Once I finish reading them in about 3 weeks I'll have to get a new bookshelf to find room for them lol

I knew I was going to have to eventually shift to a Saturday or Sunday update. The maintenance on Sundays makes that day an exercise in futility, so we're moving to our new time slot on Saturday morning.

And from your second post... don't get TOO big of a head about it. This is just good work by our resident 51+ologist, listing all the people who made the Elite Guard, whether they are on the top 50 blam/saves official list or (especially) not.

In any event, I am cheered to see that despite my pessimistic outlook about my recent performance, I still managed to beat the 50 per day cutoff. Just barely, but beat it nonetheless. Whew.

Oh, and BTW, Dogma, I personally like Sat morning better than Thursday morning for the official update anyway. If you really want to cut down on time, why don't you either eliminate mid-week updates or cut it down to just ONE mid-week update on Tuesday or something?

whee! Just got my first BLAMMED vote screen in 10 days. That's the longest I've gone without either a savior (which I also got on the 11th) or blam screen since I started, I think. I must have been the 99th vote on a save today and a few days ago, though, because both times I went back to the movie after getting a normal thanks for voting, you'll get a protect point, etc. screen and the movie was past 100 votes like 10 seconds after I'd voted.
