There are many good reasons why they won't tell either here are a few of them which I have stated in the past.
1 If the whistle points were shown There would be some people who would flag anything that is crappy in the portal for whistle points. if this was to happen then The Admins would have more work deleting the abusive flash then if it were left alone to get blammed.
2 there would be more complain threads. Ok lets fact it there have been people complaining when ty were losing whistle rank in the past and there have been some that have been complaining before the mod couldn't delete any reviews. Think of how much more complaining there would be if masses knew exactly how much whistle points they were losing each time they blew their whistle incorrectly.
3 showing the whistle points may cause people to start flagging wildly. Those there hasn't been any complains that I have seen in a while, when the whistle system was changed to the fixed system we have now there were people who were flagging everything they saw to get a deity whistle. If this was to happen again think of how much worse it would be for those who would try to take the number 1 spot away from the top user. There would be more clearing of flags then deleting of abuse reviews and we will end up with a lot of pissed off mods and Admins not to mention users who lost whistle rank.

Ok is sir-balls an Admin? I don't think so man so you can't listen to want anyone tells you when it comes to the amount of whistle points needed for any of the whistle levels. just flag abusive reviews your rank changes to deity and don't worry about how many whistle points you need for a Deity whistle.
