I have a question. If you flag a review five years old and the people aren't active, do you still get whistle points?

If the review you marked is deleted, you still gain points. Users won't be banned for old reviews, but the old reviews can still be deleted.

Garbage ==> Normal ==> Bronze ==> Silver ==> Gold ==> Deity

Is there a way to see how close you are to the next whistle? I just want to get Gold kinda, and I get into whistling reviews every once in a while, but I get no results :[

You have to just keep at it. Back in the day, just about everyone had a silver and only one had deity. Now, so many have deity it's not even that big of a deal.
Once the system was "fixed" I went from silver to gold in about 2 days, then maybe a week or so later got my deity. Just keep here in this thread and check the portal for illegal submissions. You'll get it in no time.
