well everyone doesn't have the same view on flash. If everyone voted the same way then NG wouldn't be the site it is today. Also if everyone voted and reviewed the same way there would be no individually at all just a bunch of mindless zombies. For example Many people hate the KK for making "spam" flash movies and hate them even more because they can't blam them because 9/10 they pass. But there are some people who like the KK besides the people in the KK. and when people say they like the KK the masses will call them traitors to NG but this is only because people think differently and like different things.

On the comment about having no soul comment if they say that flag their reviews and post it here and those review will be deleted as they break the first rule since they are making comments about you and not reviewing the flash.

As for Blamming your flash if you don't like it touch cookies because everyone has the right to vote the way they feel. You can't expect people to all vote one way on a flash because they like it. People have many different ways for voting on flash movies. Take me for example if there is even one thing in the movie/game that I like or if it even makes me laugh I will protect that movie but if the movie has nothing I like I won't. Many people thing I judge to lightly on movies and more people flame me on this because I have hogh voting power, but that is how I vote you can't change that.

So remember people are different and will vote differently you can't expect people to all vote the same way or review the same way. Thank you and have a nice day ^_^

Just because reviews are 0's doesn't make them abusive. many people make that mistake and as a result they lose whistle points then lose whistle ranks. Then people complain about their losing of whistle rank or having the garbage whistle. Here is some advice and tips from one of the old school flaggers to help you keep away from the garbage whistle.

Even when sorted by rating the reviews could be non abusive low rating 0's (It is quite possible as I have seen people make these kind of review before) Trust me it will save you a whole lot of trouble and by reading the review and flagging correctly you will save yourself the trouble of ever getting a garbage whistle ( Unless the review mod make mistakes which isn't always the case but it does happen since the mods are human and capable of error)

Next tip just because a review has 0/23 score doesn't mean that the review is abusive. It could just be that a lot of people didn't find the review helpful. so don't massflag a review that has a that type of score many people have done this and a lot of them lost whistle points. So make sure you read the review carefully and make sure it violates the review guildlines before you mark it as abusive.

Here is something else for you all to know if you don't already. If you see a review that is postive but has an all 0 rating it is up for grabs. This is because 0 reviews that are postive are viewed as mistakes used by the reviewers since the NG staff believes that if someone liked the flash they wouldn't give it all 0's.

Now about Caps lock reviews. There was a time where all caps lock reviews were taboo and were up for grabs ( before the whistle change this was one of those unwritten rules of NG since caps locks were considered yelling) but now the only way caps lock are abusive is if they violate the original review guildlines. If the review is positive leave it alone it will save you the grief of losing whistle points and it will say the review mods the trouble of clearing the flags.

As for short reviews they have to violate the review guildlines to be abusive. As first they were considered abusive because short reviews weren't considered to be reviews since they didn't go into detail but now the review mods go lighter on this subject so be careful with those kind of reviews.

What happens if the authors response to a review is abusive? Can you mark the review as abusive even if the original review wasnt bad enough to be classified as abusive itself?

That flash was hypothetical... I'm still trying to learn flash before submiting, unlike some people(I made my sig! Thats as much progress I've made in a week :) )

Still, there needs to be a comment system along with the review system, like someone mentioned, so 1 actually reviews the flash and not just bash it.

No, don't not flag just based on author responses are abusive. Only if the review is abusive.

I gave a warning about the upcoming reviews for all the tributes. The review space isn't for anyone to rant about how sad the event is and how the authors shouldn't of did that. So far, I think I've banned over a100 people in the last two days and deleted over 200 reviews just off of the tributes alone. If you want to rant on about it, pm the authors or find a related thread to express your thoughts. I swear, I'm getting a pm every hour someone complaining about that of how this flash can stay on the site but my review can't wah wah wah.

Actually, I think you read it wrong... I'm talking about the reviews being shitty and nobody ever actually reviews, but just leaves a nasty comment on that movie because it goes against what the person believes in, or does something that they disagree with. These are the reviews that people need to stop writing, so you're right about PMing the author about it, and leaving the reviews clean. Then again, I always enjoy some whistle points :)

Do not do that. That is how you get a garbage whistle. That is why the submissions on the front page still have been flagged over twenty times.

Most abusive reviews don't make it past the teens before it is deleted by a review mod.

Ok one the no button doesn't get you any whistle points only by pressing the abusive button will you get any whistle points. Also by saying that you are promoting blind flagging as well as mass flagging both of which are bad. Blind flagging is one of the reasons a lot of people have garbage whistles because they don't read the review before flagging it. Also Mass flagging is another cause of people getting garbage whistle because again they aren't reading the review they are just going on a blind leap of fate.

You should always read the review and make sure that it violate the review guildlines before flagging.

This link has quite a few abusive reviews read the reviews before flagging them though
