you got to read the reviews and make sure they violate the review guildlines. If you are flagging reviews that aren't abusive then you will lose whistle points and evenually get the dreaded garbage whistle.

Are you positive that they are abusive? Just because there is a posted link in this thread, doesn't mean that every single review is abusive or rule breaking. You have to read the review to determine that. I think alot of people make mistakes is by assuming that when they see 0/3 or 0/5 that presume it's abusive. If you need help on what to flag, send a pm or just flag obvious ones till u get the hang of it. I st arted out just flagging the ones insulting the author, then moved on to more specfics like spamming the tool bar or low scores without explaination.

This is a post I made, and I see that "some" users got interested by the link I gave, because I see that over 80 reviews had been deleted and that the review score has increased by at least 5 pts. I think I've done a good job with this, and I hope I will find some others things like this, but it will be better that something like this doesn't happen again.
However, I doubt it will be like that...

I am not sure about his review myself. If I am not mistaken a review is suppose to tell an author how to improve his or her work if the review score is really low. While I was reading jonthomson's review along with the others I didn't see any comments on how the author could improve his work in that review.

Also, in an unrelated topic but still a bad thing to promote here, a flash that was allowed the other day simply said (and it was the whole flash) "Niger is a country, not the N-word"; I flagged it, yet it was allowed in, and it remains online.

If it gives a high(ish) score, then yes, reviews like that are no longer considered abusive.

I assume you're talking about this Flash? It doesn't break a single rule, so I see no reason why it shouldn't remain on the site. Only flag Flashes if they break the whistle rules. Don't flag a Flash just because you don't like it, simply give it the score you think it deserves.
Also, Niger is a country.
