So that was the amount needed to get gold with the old system. In the new system is much, much less what with all the people with deity whistles these days. Probably in the ranges of 500-1000 :/

Try reading his post properly. He said that someone with 13000 points would be deity. He didn't say that 13000 points was the minimum requirement for a user to have the deity whistle.

People have gone from a normal whistle to deity in two weeks or less. It took Insomniac777/Tannerite/whatever the hell his alias is at this moment in time about a year of pretty crazy flagging to acquire 13000+ points. Think about it. Do you honestly think someone could match that in 14 days or less?

Well the people who have done that were flagging like crazy (not crazy enough to gain anywhere near 13000 points though ;)).

Flagging abusive reviews (ones which actually are abusive) can also cause you to lose whistle points, since there are some review mods who don't know the rules and clear flags on reviews which call the author "A faggot". So that could be what's happened to you.

They've been here for years, of course it makes sense. Just ask them how long it took them to get deity. I know that ramagi has had it long before me. Anyways, let me just put 13,000 into perspective; We get maybe 100-200 good abusive reviews here daily. A normal person gets maybe 10-50 of them. It would take that person almost 2.4 years to get deity at that level. Then why do almost all people get it after a few months?

Plenty of people flag much more than 10-50 reviews a day. Washu was flagging like hundreds a day back when she would post "daily reports" of how much she flagged in the egb.

Even then, it took her quite a few months before reaching deity with the old system.

That guy was a mindless freak who got every review. And there are a few of them that have gotten deity in under a month. All I can say, its no way 13,000 for deity. If I get gold soon, my 50 for gold is also correct. But it could be 100 for gold/500 for deity. No one knows except admins, and I'm guessing, some mods. No use arguing.

I remember that with the old system, only one person could have a gold or diety whistle. It used to be impossible for me to get the gold one. Under the new system, it took me only two weeks to get the diety whistle.

It took me a little more then a year to get deity by the old system. I only been here for a about a year and 8 months. It took me 7 months to get gold. The only reason I got it so fast was because I flagged huge amounts of reviews daily and I wasn't thinking about the whistle level past silver like the masses were back in the day. Otherwise I would have stopped way before I got gold.

I don't flag as much since the change since some of the excitement has been taken away from flagging now.
