I don't get how anything can get that many dumb reviews. Almost all of them consist of two one-liners, one in the title and one in the review body. Or just two words. Or picture spam. He probably got all his friends to write those.

I know this has been discussed for a while now... I am not totally sure of why it is. But my question related to this is, is there really a point for some of us who recently (in the past few months) acquired silver to keep whistling (besides to help keep NG clean, of course)? I mean, the only incentive is the parenthetical one I just wrote about keeping the site clean. I have no hope for reaching gold or any other rank-up, so what besides wanting to keep the site clean would make me want to spend all that time whistling?

Looks like Wade has just in the past couple of days cleaned out all of the banned link spammers, so everyone got whistle points for that if they flagged the reviews. It's a good thing, because they were piling up. Now if he would only cleared the whistled flash..currently 1,207 flagged movies.

The Gold whistle rank is about impossible to achieve, and I doubt anyone will ever catch Joe to get Diety.

Me too. Maybe there's a fixed amount of people with Gold whistles? Because if you blow the whistle on like one thing you get a bronze. On maybe ten things or twenty or something you get your silver whistle. But I STILL don't have my gold.
