Whoa, whoa whoa. Who the hell told you that information? Everything you said is completely inaccurate. If you are going to correct someone or answer a question, at least get the information remotely right yourself. It's ok to be mistaken sometimes, but not on this level.

Wrong. Only reviews that are 100% protected are ng staff and moderators. All other reviews can be deleted despite date. Wether it goes on to be deleted, is up to the discretion of the admin or moderator.

That clears nothing up because you have no idea what you're talking about. An abusive review is an abusive review, it's not exempt just because someone wrote it two years ago (unless it's on B, but that's to maintain the historical integrity of the most iconic spam flash). That being said, chances are, a two year old review is never going to be read by anyone other than someone hunting for flags to boost their stats. We'd much prefer if you focused on more recent reviews.
As for marking non-abusive reviews you're most likely not going to lose points if it gets cleared. If I can, in any way, no matter how slight the reasoning, see how someone might think a review is abusive I'll clear the flags without penalizing them. Getting docked for your flags only happens when a review is so perfect that I can't think of any reason why someone would want to flag it. That also being said, flagging reviews that are just going to get cleared without penalty won't hurt you, but it increases the time it takes us mods to get to and delete abusive reviews.
