I was going through some of my early posts looking for something, when I came across a post from this thread about a highly abusive reviewer and purely out of interest clicked the link to see if the person still had an account here, or if they had abusive reviews. What do you know, some dickheads never learn... nor want to.
Whoever this guy is he just left me a spam review.

That guy's a dick. I wish we could flag reviews for flash that were still underjudgement.
Talk about EFFORT.

Here's my next list:
Abusive daily feature reviews - rating page 21 (check 22 as well)
Defend your Computer abusive reviews - rating page 34 (check 35)
user review rating page 5 (check 6 as well)
and another (go through pages 1, 2, and 3)
that's all

Okay, this guy doesn't have many reviews, but I would advise you guys to read through them all. If nothing else, it will give you a laugh.
There are a couple in there which are obviously abusive (calling the author and the flash gay for example), but which ones you mark are up to tou. I'm still tyrying to work out what is going through his head when he writes a review (I loved how he gave 0's for sounds, because his computer was "crashing").
I really wonder why:
no one communicates, never say thanx or anything, ive just seen a "welcome to redwrath" from luxury yacht, but nothing more,
its not organized, you should make rules, like fixing a number of links in a post, a minimum or a maximum, or both, telling to everyone who wants to reply how putting a good link: not the personnal profile, but directly the reviews of the person.....or asking everyone for ideas......
Well here is my daily 5 pages:
As always, a page from the turd of the week
The first review is the longest ever seen...
A few ones here
plz whistle the retard on the 3rd page too
Finaly ive founded a good page, its 1a.m in france goddamit
There are a number of abusive reviews for this daily2oon...

Well... I personally agree but this system seems to work. I guess we should really ask what people want. Here I go!
1. Should we start an "OFFICIAL" Abusive reviews club in the crew/club topic area?
2. Should we start an "OFFICIAL" Abusive reviews monitors thread in this topic area (Wi/Ht)?
3. Should we assign ranks either based on custom whistle system (see my link below)?
4. Should we set a min and max limit to abusive links (5-10?)
5. NOW I know most of us should know how to link directly to a user's reviews (hint: right click)

Not really needed in a thread like this, there's no reason to, it's not really a club, so there won't be a lot of talking between people in here.

There is one actually, check out the Abusive reviews crew. It works the same way as this thread I assume, post links and stuff, but maybe more communicating with the members.
2. Should we start an "OFFICIAL" Abusive reviews monitors thread in this topic area (Wi/Ht)?
Review monitors would be review mods, and I think most do go through this thread.
3. Should we assign ranks either based on custom whistle system (see my link below)?
Ranks aren't needed in this thread, it's just for posting abusive reviews, the idea to add more whistle levels (which is the link you're talking about in your sig right?) I like though, but that's not up to me.
4. Should we set a min and max limit to abusive links (5-10?)
No. Most people I would think just sometimes find a random person, and drop his name in, rather than have to look for more people before being allowed to post. Seems unfair. And a maximum is dumb also, why wouldn't you want a large list of abusive reviews, it's not like it hurts anyone.
5. NOW I know most of us should know how to link directly to a user's reviews (hint: right click)
Well, duh, most people do know how to do that, not like it's hard, and if someone doesn't, they usually just link to a movie and say "see that guy's review, it's abusive. More important things to know would be like; check the front page and front page archive movies for lots of abusive reviews, or, don't worry about flagging reviews from 2001-2003, as those reviews are old, and written before the review guidelines. Stuff like that.
Anyway, here are some people to feast on:

This isn't really a club of any sort, it's really just a voluntary service. Many people just pop by once and never contribute again. This thread doesn't really have a friendly atmosphere, I'll admit, but it's the links that count.
its not organized, you should make rules, like fixing a number of links in a post
That may discourage many people from posting. Even I sometimes find a single link that I just HAVE to share, but don't want to have to go hunt for a bunch more right then. I suppose we could do a bit more welcoming and conversing around here. I'll try to work on that.

The thing is, as this thread goes on, new pages are made, and it could mean having to repost the rules over and over again. The direct link to the reviews of the person is usually self-explanitory, since if someone wanted to post a link, they're likely to have seen the correct format by now.
Anyway, thanks for your concern about the thread and taking the time to voice what you feel should be done, and of course for the links. I hope you'll continue to contribute in the future.
ABUSE!

Hey, I found this thread just yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to find some good abuses to post, but I still wanted to say thanks to everyone on this thread. I haven't read all 129 pages (For obvious reasons), but I was wondering if some of the more experienced posters would share tips on how to help find abusive reviews... Also, is it worth tagging really old reviews that remained undeleted with 11 or 12 abuse tags on some of the classic collections reviews? About how many abuse reports does it need to be noticed?
That's all for now. Lung break over, whistle blowers! Good luck!

I probably wouldn't read any of the past ones, since if they were abusive, the review mods would have banned the offending reviewers by now.
but I was wondering if some of the more experienced posters would share tips on how to help find abusive reviews...
Many popular submissions, like on the front page, will have abusive reviews. Click the "read all reviews" button, then click the "sort by rating" button on the review page, then go to the last page, and work backwards for a while. This works for just about every submission, not just the popular ones.
Also, is it worth tagging really old reviews that remained undeleted with 11 or 12 abuse tags on some of the classic collections reviews?
I guess so.
About how many abuse reports does it need to be noticed?
There isn't really any set number.

You're very welcome ^_^

Same here.

Check anything popular; chances of it getting noticed are probably higher if it's recent. You'll definitely find some for any and every new submission by Clock Crew, LF, or any other well known person or group. And if you see someone leave an abusive review, check their profile to see if there's any more.
Also, is it worth tagging really old reviews that remained undeleted with 11 or 12 abuse tags on some of the classic collections reviews?
Probably not, but flag em anyway!
I'm going to be out of the loop for a couple of days because I'm headed to college. I hope to come back and add some more abusive review discoveries soon. I think I will be back online on Monday. See'ya.
Remember, push for more whistle levels.

Well I would mark these as ''Abusive'' but i'm not sure which ones are abusive, and yes I have read the portal FAQ... oh well, whistle points aren't everything... but a bad review is...

It's a whistle FAQ by Newgrundling. It should answer your questions. I would have posted the one I wrote, but this one's a bit better, in my opinion.
