I won't mind seeing it. Is it a guide to what makes a review abusive, or how the whistle points work when you flag a review?
Both, actually. Here is part 1 of 2:

Part 1: What is an abusive review?
An abusive review is any review of a game and/or movie that breaks the rules of the Newgrounds Portal FAQ. While many reviews are helpful, many are unconstructive and downright obscene. These are the reviews that we want to get rid of.
Part 2: How do I say whether a review is abusive or not?
When you are reading reviews, beneath each and every review you will see:
0/0 people found this review helpful. Did you?
The “0/0” changes depending on how people respond to the review. If you thought that a review is helpful and constructive, you may click on the “YES” button. If you thought that the review was not helpful, you may click the “NO” button. But if you thought that a review is abusive, you should click the “ABUSIVE” button. Later, you’ll learn how to decide what makes a review abusive.
Part 3: Why should I flag abusive reviews?
Newgrounds is one of the few flash sites where anyone can comment on a flash movie and rate it accordingly. However, some people abuse that right. We want to keep NG clean and get rid of any abuse. It is our duty to make NG the best it can be.
Part 4: What is the whistle in my profile for?
Your whistle shows how hard you work on keeping NG clean. The more you do, the better your whistle. The whistle levels are, in order of power from worst to best: Garbage, Normal, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Deity. You can also flag abusive movies while they are under judgment, but that’s a whole different ballgame.
Part 5: What happens if I write abusive reviews?
If you write abusive reviews, chances are a mod will catch you. You could get every single one of your reviews deleted, and/or you could get a ban. Multiple offenses could get your ISP banned and your profile deleted.
Part 6: Types of abusive reviews
· Type 1- Insulting the author
If a review insults the author frequently, that is abusive. E.g. yur gay, cock, you get the idea. These are unconstructive and downright offensive.
· Type 2-“Blam this” reviews
Many times, you will find a review that says “Blam this piece of crap!” This is abusive. In reviews, do not say that a movie should not have passed judgment, or should have been deleted, that isn’t helping anybody. Besides, you’re reading a review that says “Blam this”, it has already passed judgment. Once a movie passes judgment, it can’t be deleted.
· Type 3-“This is stolen” reviews
Do not say, “This movie is stolen from------!” That is abusive. If you think it’s stolen, check the author’s website, or past animations if it’s a sequel. Also, check the date of submission; chances are, it was on NG before you saw it elsewhere. If you still want to say it’s stolen, e-mail an administrator about it.
· Type 4-Character spam
If you see a review that’s like, “kfhgdaksgfigfLOL”, that is abusive. So is “LOLOLOLOL” and “HAHAHA!!!!!!!!” and anything of the sort.
· Type 5-Conversation reviews
In your reviews, don’t attempt to strike up conversation with previous reviewers. They can’t respond, since you can only leave 1 review per movie. Don’t insult them, either.
· Type 6-Offensive reviews
If you see reviews with racial slurs, they’re abusive. We don’t need that kind of talk on NG. Also, don’t say anything that is offensive to a nationality.
· Type 7-Nonsense reviews
Don’t just start babbling about random crap; stay on topic. Evaluate the movie, and don’t tell semi-interesting/irrelevant stories.
· Type 8-Repeat reviews
Don’t say the same thing in all of your reviews; if you have 5 or so reviews that are the exact same thing, that’s just spam.
· Type 9-Images
Reviews with text images are abusive. Don’t waste 20 minutes making a picture, just write the review. A (in) famous example is the middle finger image, which is now rarely found. They’ve mostly been taken care of. No text penises, either. There’s enough already.
· Type 10-Promotion of outside websites
This is the golden rule of reviewing flash. DO NOT POST OUTSIDE LINKS IN YOUR REVIEWS. Some NG members remember the “Outwar” spammers. They would write a review where they would leave a link to a site called Outwar. The more people who followed the link, the more stuff the person who wrote the review got on Outwar. Outwar is basically gone now, but a lot of people still do that type of thing for different sites. E.g. “This is a good game, but I know a better one!” Then they leave the address and all. Those are very abusive. They get flagged really fast too, so keep an eye out for them.
· Type 11-“WTF front page?”
Admins don’t want people asking why Tom put a certain movie on the front page. If it’s there, it’s there for a reason; it is obviously considered worthy.
· Type 12- “Thanks for voting” reviews
Don’t just copy-paste your voting power and change in score of the movie as a result of voting unless it is relevant to the review. The author doesn’t need you to tell them what score their movie has or what your voting power is.
Part 7: How do I find out how powerful my whistle is?
Whistle power is measured by how many whistle points that user has (See part 8 for how to get points). Unfortunately, there really is no way you can find out exactly how powerful your whistle is, or how many more points you need to advance a whistle level.
