I just got back from seeing Spiderman 3. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! Okay I need to rant! I have always liked Spiderman and my favortie villain was Venom. I was thrilled when I heard that Venom would be in the movie. While I was watching the movie I was just waiting for Venom to kick Spiderman's ass. I was majorly disapointed. I mean he looked good and all but the main thing I wanted to see throughout the entire movie was for Venom to beat the SHIT out of Spiderman. That is the thing I have wanted to see ever since they made the original Spiderman. But nooooooooo he was hardly in fights with Spiderman and hardly any ass kicking. AND THEY HAD TO FUCKING KILL HIM! SHIT! AS SOON AS HE GOT KILLED I GOT UP AND ALMOST WENT OUT THE DOOR! I ALMOST SCREAMED "OH FUCK YOU!" WHEN HE DIED. My hopes were crush. And now I hate the movie. I would love it if they had Venom kicking Spiderman's ass and/or let him come back in a sequel (if there will be any).
"As the old saying goes...what was it again?"
I rented the game yesterday for 360, liked the second game. Looks good, except it took out some of the fun things, like that "complicated" swinging system that allowed you to swing with both hands. I loved doing the slingshot thing.

Nope, I haven't.
And it's looking like I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow :[
I had high expectations for this one.
Sadly, after the dissappointment of the first two films, I was also prepared for the contingency thst it would be fucking terrible.
It turned out to be the latter.

Um... that's the point of the comment. It was supposed to be inuendo. You didn't do anything but point out how obtuse you are.
Harry dies in Spiderman 3 </spoiler>
Whooooopsss.... I forgot the opening <spoiler> tag.
Anyway, I liked it... Too bad I hadn't seen number 2.
I actually watched number 2 afterwards.

Whoa, what? I didn't know Harry died!
I thought only Venom died in this one, and that's why everyone was disappointed and such. Perhaps no one really cared about Harry, and didn't mind that he died though :P

Which one did you like better?
It sucked.
I'm so fucking bummed out, I can't even put it in words.
It was stupid, terrible, ridiculous, and just embarrassing to watch.
I hope everyone involved in that movie burns in a fire.
They took this dark, interesting storyline, and made it into one big fucking joke.
"LOLOL, THAT SILLY MOTHERFUCKER PETER IS DANCING IN THE STREET.""HAHAHAAHAHAHAH."
"LOL HE WANTS MILK AND COOKIES, HE'S BADASS."
"NOW HE'S PLAYING THE PIANO AND DANCING AGAIN HAHA THIS IS FUN.
"JHSFDJGHKAH LOL."
If I ever see Sam Raimi, I'll kill him.
I'll fucking shove the script right up his ass.
Venom's screentime was less than 2 minutes.
I'VE BEEN WAITING MY WHOLE FUCKING LIFE TO SEE VENOM.
COCKSDIFSDN SAMMHSDICF.
Fuck everything.
fuck.
fuckfuck.
this is what happens when you read spiderman for 8 years.
you go fucking insane.

Yeah, he does, but in the end hes pretty cool.
Spoiler
Ironic how he dies just like his father, right in the stomach with the glider. Ouch.
AWESOME saw it today with my friend. Its sorta long like it dragged on and on but fighting scenes were great
3 villains? That definitely dims my excitement. I just don't see how they can reasonably develop any of the villains in a 2 hour movie that way. Oh well, I can't imagine it could possibly be as bad as X-Men 3.
I liked 2 better than 1 because:
- Doctor Octavius is a likeable character who you feel bad for as he turns into a villain. He's the bad guy, but he still seems human. Osborne was kind of a jerk to begin with and once he goes nuts it's easy to treat him as a sub-human emotionally.
- The fact that Spiderman can't get his life together despite all his fancy super powers has always appealed to me. It makes him easier to relate to because he's just a normal guy with normal problems that just happens to have super powers. He's not an alien from a distant planet or some rich heir. Sure it was a bit over the top, but I think that's okay in the context of something as over the top as a super hero movie.
I've got a bad Batman & Robin feeling about this. Not the whole cheese factor of that one, but the fact that they felt the need to load the thing up with 3 different villains. Why do they always feel the need to do this? Hey, if one super-villain is great, why not stick two in? Oh wait, what's better than two? Three!!! I just have a feeling that it's going to be a mess trying to cram in three enemies into one movie, with there not being enough time to flesh out any one of them.

I'm your average Afro-American fetus. For example: I enjoy basketball, I'm rather good when I play too, but I'm much too busy scratching my horrific cracked skin these days.

But in all respects, MadCow, sweet job on making the official thread, and the initial sig, like all of yours, are above-par! Just payin credit where's due =)

It was the worst film I have seen this year.
Totally dis-jointed, useless bad-guys that had no real scariness or emotional attachment. Totally stupid news-presentation near the end with stupid and pointless patriotic over-tones.
A total waste of time and money to see it.
I keep hearing very mixed reviews on it. Some say they loved it, some say they hated it. Ill probably just wait for it to come out on DVD, before I see it.
Im actually more concerned about seeing Hot Fuzz anyways.

You must not watch too many movies then.
3 a year?

haha yeah
Saw the movie last night...i thought it was definatley no where near as good as the first 2.
The whole emo part just fucked it up for me really. If he acted more aggressive/evil rather than some emo kid and not danced like such a tool down the streets, it would have been believable rather than comedic. That whole part, i thought, was stupid. If they left that part out..it would have been a better movie.
Venom was fucking sick though.

I hear everyone hates Spider-Man 3? Well, that's bullshit. It was a wonderful film even though Venom was really the reason why I watched the film he was still cool. Three bad guys: Sand man, Venom, and Harry. I really liked the movie, and I can't belive the majority hated it.
Assholes.

You heard wrong, you just found a group of select few who does.

Sorry, sometimes when I see people who like the things I do then I can't wait for me to post. But when I see later on people who hate it I just focus on that than how much some people liked it.
I may not have shown how much I liked I'll start. So, what I know for sure it was a long movie maybe two hours, or more. Sand man was really cool, sometimes gets big, and when I thought he died from the water he didn't. What is such a mystery to me is, how did the thing that landed on the Earth come to Earth?
Spiderman's revenge suit was really cool, and I didn't like the fact that people framed him as an Emo which really doesn't matter to me. In my perspective you guys should watch it, and I know a lot people will.
I was really bored through out most of it. When Sandman and Venom teamed up and what not it started to get a bit interesting. But then that only last like 10-15 minutes if that.
Too much love. They always have to have love stories. And it ruins the movie and it for the guys. But teenage girls go to see movies more then anybody else, so yeah...

You mean that huge American flag in the background when he jumps on the top of the building?
That's not a patriotic overtone that's just something Sam Raimi inserts into every Spider-Man film just like Bruce Cambell and that car which I couldn't find, but I wasn't really paying attention.
Oh and stop with the "Emo" Parker bullshit because that's just annoying. You guys are so immersed into your disdane for Emo that you failed to realize it was just picking on the style of the culture.
Also he wasn't even Emo in the slightest bit. In fact if he didn't even have that hair flick thing going on no one would of noticed or said "OMG EMO".
i was too lazy to read it all.
but i personally cant wait till spiderman 3 comes out, ill prolly go watch it
to the cinema teather.
