Thanks for the encouragement, but after the exams are over I suspect I shall still be at a loss for time on here. I expect my days to become much more eventful as summer rolls in. However, I do still intend on sticking with my goal of reaching the top 50 before summer holidays start. I'm questioning my progress, though. I've been ranked 64 for like 3 or 4 days now. I think I may still have a chance, if I can cut down on daggerfall time, not to mention make up for the entire days I've lost because of it already (not that I'm trying to send anyone on a guilt trip, or anything ;)).

Personally, no, we haven't really talked one on one... but blam/save wise? I think I know you pretty well. I've seen posts of yours over a year ago, and watched you on the list for half a year now with much respect.

I didn't mean you were going to get passed in protects, I was simply referring to the fact that you are over 3000 total points ahead of RyoHahn, over 2000 blams ahead of him, but 1000 protects ahead of him. Not that 1000 isn't a lot, but I was just comparing it to your lead in blams and your lead in overall points, which are clearly more insanely unsurpassable. #;-}>

Yay! The first (and for a month or two, the only) person in 5 digit protects.

I hope to join that soon-to-be-opened group sometime this year, but we'll see if my NG time gets severely curtailed enough to make that an impossibility. One thing is for sure, I'll have 10,000 protects long before I get 10,000 blams (my saves just recently passed the blams+1000 mark).

Anyway, don't despair. Ye be strong in the protects, and you shall make it. Look at it this way: Cadji is #50 right now, and has taken like a week to go from 4900 to 5000, and no one's passed him aside from XKwiziT. So just steadily get towards Sergeant First Class and you'll make it onto the list as well.

Well in my book _redruM_ you are doing great and going at a good pace. Once everything is over and done for, you are going to be able to relax and have fun on the grounds and rack up points over and plus. And dont worry, the 60's position is interesting spot to pass, I was there and you just have to bare with it, you'll make it, I did. Look forward to seeing on the list............

There lie the beaten and broken carcasses of those who used to be on the list, who fought and crawled their way up, only to stop making much progress (if any), crumble apart and have their skeletons fall under the jackboot of the advancing blammer/savior armies, like us basically. #;-}>

Yea thats an interesting way of putting it, they came and conquerored and now they have retired their ranks to allow the next generation to proceed and protect the grounds - and your right its sad to see the greats fall but thats how life works and rotate - time to see the new elites run and conqueror the 'grounds......

Even safer to get into the middle of the Master Sergeants, but... it took the list two months to move the #50 spot from 4000 to 5000, it'll probably take another 2 months to move it from 5000 to 6000. So just get over that 6000 mark, and you'll be okay most likely, yes...

But I don't really need any lists or stat files for that stat up there, that one's just from memory. I remember when the last Sergeant disappeared from the top 50 list, because *I* was hitting Sergeant right around that time, and I was a little upset I'd have to get ALL the way to Staff Sergeant to get on the list. That was mid-March.

And over the past week, I've watched Cadji SLOWLY go from 4950 to 4982 or whatever he's at now, so I know the 5000 mark is gonna be hit at #50 by either him or someone else FAIRLY soon. And this is mid-May.

Hence, 2 months for the #50 spot to move up by 1000 points, and if you're only gone for 4 weeks or so, you should be fine if you're at least 500 above the last spot, but I wouldn't make any guarantees. #;-}>

So now I have to catch _lightning_ to get on the list?
