Hmm...My user-name is perfect, so there is no need for me to change it.
When people change names, it gets slightly harder to tell who is who and find their flashes and audio (If any). This should prevent that.

Tom already did a massive clearing out of inactive accounts when the underscores were removed from names. Many long time members were able to request a check to be done on the account that used their preferred alias.
