I beleve it is going to be a series of songs, you choose the audio artist from the list at the top of the page (Or some where else on this page where it's updated) and you say that artist your gonna animate with the track name. That's what I think should be done at least.

Dude I just watched your animation High on life. It was good, why don't you become an animator in the collab? You could do it the same style you did it on your animation.

the original idea was for each person to do a song in the same key..that type of thing. same type of techno...same speed. i think it would be more intresting that way, instead of a movie with completely different songs.

Thanks ^_^. I guess if we don't have enough people by the end I could do a small part. But i'd rather look for others first, if you know what i mean.

i think 120, 160, and 200 bpm are all good. my music software cant go above 200 unfortunately... if u wanted to do something above 200 i could always use cut-time instead...

i don't think we'll go above 200, so no worries there. 120 might be a bit slow for techno, but not always. if there's a techno song that's 120 bpm and sounds good, then i'm fine with it.

father-of-death, u have like 50 songs!!! i only listened to like a couple, and i cant really tell which is your best. i think either striker or father of death should do the sample...
and hiniberus (i think i spelled that wrong) ur industrial stuff is hella good. i dont think u should base anything u make off anyones...but we can use ur industrial skills to make an awsome section of the movie. maybe for the climax part or somehting cuz that type of music can kind of be transitional type stuff.
i agree with striker that it should start out kinda slow and work its way up. so maybe we could begin with some slow stuff it that works out (i think i can do pretty good slow techno around 120 bpm) and then somewhere around the middle-end have the industrial part. then finish it with somehting around 200 bpm.

a lot of animators go there hoping to find programmers to help with their games..but a lot of the time they don't get help. so i put a link in there telling all the animators to come here and help instead of waiting in line for programmers.
i think it would help if all the music artists here post in ..that thread also, to prove the point that this is going to be a big thing.

ya thats good. im starting yet another techno song. i think we could use any of mine since most of them are recent, and since i was kind of making them for this anyway..
3 minute sections or however long is cool, it would be awsome to have like a 20 minute movie to just sit down and watch everynow and then and be like "hell yes i was part of that"
iuno how many animators would want to animate really long stretches of song tho..i remember whenever i tried making something look good, it always took forever. i hope we can just get some really good hard working *cough* ANIMATORS OVER HERE *cough* animators to help us...

actually thank you everyone. im really knew to the forums and this is a great first time expirience on what the forums are capable of. im so happy people actually answered my call and are trying so hard to make this work.

Thanks, will I be co-authord in the collab? I've Pmd 'bout 20+ animators and only 3 replys that weren't too good for the collab at least. Also I just wanted to warn Father of death and x-Striker-x that they must say what Electro genere they want and their track they are going to include or else they shall be booted as the animators need to know what track, as for me it's gonna be "Industrial lane" or "Experament".

You're probably right hiniberus. Shouldn't we all come out with our tracks first while we finish off our list of animators, so that then they can select from a list, like for most collabs?
Oh yeah and Kharbon PM'd me back, I beleive that he's willing to work hard for us should we do our part.
So let's get started. I guess the songs should be anywhere from 1-3 minutes, keep in mind that someone has to animate it, so be sure not to make a song with no changes to it. I guess High Voltage is ok, but it's a great example of a song that would be really tough to animate (sensibly) to. If this is ok with everyone, try to keep your songs from 125 bpm to 180 bpm. Not too much of a limitation, is it? Try to steer away from hip-hop, classical (unless it's a techno remix :D) and bluegrass. I know you probably weren't going to do any of those anyway. Oh yeah, if it's not too late, try to put it on C minor. If you didn't, well that's fine.
And, of course, DinJin is still the leader of this project. Din, if you have any problems with those conditions, please feel free to make any changes that you want.
I'm glad that we gave you the chance to see what the BBS can accomplish ^_^, we're going to owe you a lot in the near future.
