How did you miss that he was legitimately hurt?

Oh, I knew he was really messed up when they had the trainer come into the ring for an extended period of time. It was stupid what they were having him do, though. Why are we having a 56 year old man do a spot where he goes through an announcer's table with the monitors still on it? Stupid, stupid booking. You'd have never see them do that with Hogan or Flair when they were having their "nostalgia runs".

You can blame the booking for the spots, but at the end of the day, Sting signed off on it. I think Rollins would have been just fine protecting him more and coming up with ways he could sell Sting without making him take so many high risk bumps.

If you want to blame booking for ANYTHING it's having Sting be a world title contender in the first place. That shit made ZERO sense, and only happened because there's so many Sting marks out there. That's right, I'm blaming YOU GUYS and your STUPID MARKING OUT! You made them think Sting is enough to put asses in seats. And now your marking out is gonna make "Demon Kane" the next #1 contender. THE 90'S ARE OVER, FUCK YOU GUYS!!!!

Seth Rollins botched a move and broke John Cena's nose. Rollins botched another move and injured Sting's neck and may end his career. I think Seth Rollins has to share some of the blame.

If you watch enough matches involving a flying knee, you will see every time the guy getting hit takes a bump well before the knee hits. I wouldn't put the Cena botch on Rollins without having heard how they were calling that match together. Either the knee wasn't called, or Cena fucked up and took it wrong.

As for the turnbuckle toss, they replayed it a few times and while you could see him hit bad, it didn't look like a botch so much as a man who's flexibility isn't up to snuff to be taking that kind of bump. In hindsight it was a spot that probably shouldn't have happened, but if Sting assured everyone he could take it, is that really on Rollins or the booking? Or is that a guy WAY past his prime simply being in denial about his current abilities?

This one is still up for debate. Hopefully, Sting's career is not over. Perhaps, he can rehab and return.

I'm sure he can rehab, but he's never going to be doing AAA matches again. Way too much liability for WWE. You can almost certainly put any hope for a worthy Sting vs Taker match on the shelf. They still could have a match, but it wouldn't wow anyone except hardcore marks.

By the time Sting rehabs, Hulk Hogan will probably be allowed to return to the WWE. Maybe they could team up against a tag team? It would be a good return match and they both would have shorter times in the ring with brakes.

Ha! I think Hulk being released and pretty much receiving the Benoit treatment is too much of an overkill as much as the next guy but he ain't coming back in the next few years, if ever. Much less form a tag team, it would be worse than Roddy Piper and Ric Flair's run in the division.
WWE should be focused on building new stars, not relying on legends to put butts in seats.

Exactly! There's nothing wrong with a dream match every now and again. I still see the possibility of a Sting vs. Taker match. We do need to build better stars. There was so much potential for CM Punk.

Hulk Hogan is too big of a name to remove his forever. He will return within a year or two, once the heat dies down.
Vince loves the older legends and uses them often.

I think he's wrestled his last match. Vince wasn't super impressed with his match with H (and truthfully, I think Vince was just enamored with having the last major WCW guy signed, under control, and able to job to his proxy for his own self), and what is there left to do to pop a rating, network sub, etc with him? All due respect, but he's fuckin 50 and the audience is dwindling and being less responsive to guys from the past coming back and being pushed. The Monday Night War ended 15 fucking years ago! Before that it was over a year or two before hand when WCW pissed away it's advantages and proved they had nothing past the nWo concept.

Rebuild now around the youth movement and around what's working in NXT or be fucked is my warning to Vince. But it looks like that isn't possible till the old bastard dies because he'd rather lose money then push something he doesn't believe in. That TV deal should be coming up soon and the stock scam will hurt again when it isn't the wonderous and wonderful thing he promises it to be. Sorry to be overly negative but other then NXT, I just don't see anything fresh, hot, or hopeful for this damn company. It's moribund until Vince isn't making the creative decisions anymore.

Wrestling has really gone downhill without Hulk Hogan. The ratings have been falling every week. They need to hurry up and bring him back.

Pretty sure they were slowly falling even when they still had him under contract.
No one's ever going to forget about Hogan or his accomplishments in the world of wrestling but your energy should instead be focused on the stars in NXT and the ones struggling to get a reaction in today's dead crowds, legends will always have a big reception but the stars of today who can't get any need a bit of help.

Did you know that, right after WWE let Hulk Hogan go, TNA offered him a six year contract. TNA can forget about it, so everybody else should as well.

He wasn't even on TV before getting the sack, and even when he had been all he'd done was shill the Network or whatever else WWE was pushing at the time.

If he was around now all they'd have him doing would be ripping off a pink t-shirt and drumming up support for the scumbag crooks at Susan G Komen. At least it'd be better than seeing him actually involved in story lines, or heaven forbid, matches.

Raw has been shit, but it's nowt to do with Hogan. Barely matters when NXT has been phenomenal and ICW's Fear and Loathing VIII is just around the corner.

I totally agree that Komen is a crook. Forcing people to wear pink for her profit.

TNA would also hire Chris Benoit if he was resurrected just to get a ratings boost, TNA isn't exactly how every company should act.
If you care about Hulk so much maybe you should exclusively watch whatever wrestling promotion he's in now.
And if you're so opposed to new stars taking the place of old legends then maybe you should stop watching modern wrestling shows and view matches from the 80's on Youtube.

I am aware of your petition, yes, and i do believe i already signed it when you posted it in General because i also don't believe a word he said years ago is even a remotely good excuse to get rid of him.
