As far as NXT, does it matter? The last thing I heard it's going to be an internet only show now so it's going to matter even less unless WWE wants to do something smart with it like stream it on their youtube channel or on Hulu or something like that. Because if it's a WWE.com exclusive I just see it being even more ignored then it is on TV now. I think they also need to get the idiotic elements of the challenges and such out of it. SD! has been getting the short end of the stick because they aren't going to put effort into a show a lot of people can't get. Once it goes back SyFy I imagine we'll see more of an equal footing for the unified championships coming over. I like the idea of a unified women's title since they've done basically every match they can within the split divisions so this will allow them to freshen it up for a little while.

It makes me somewhat curious with WWE doing two unification matches in two years if they aren't perhaps looking trying to pair down titles to create more focused emphasis on them? Chances are that's not the way they're going since the tag and women's titles haven't been of massive importance to WWE. But I wonder if we won't soon see a situation where the only split title will be the world titles.

Raw was alright tonight. They really focused on advancing everyone's story and not so much wrestling. They did a good job of getting everyone in. Punk's promo was amazing as usual, bashing The Rock and Big Show's movie appearances, "forgetting" who Lesnar was. I was upset the Nexus went over Sheamus at first, but I guess they really needed that win to maintain their credibility. If Jericho leaves, I hope his hiatus won't be as long as last time.

I think my only complaint was the tag match. Four great performers and we don't even get a match, and nothing happened afterward. Pure filler.

Yet another Unification match, eh? There was an allusion to other titles being defendable on both shows, so maybe that'll be what will be done in the future for at least the Women's / Tag Titles, which would benefit those greatly.

I believe Michael Cole is one of the better commentators out there. I prefer him over someone like JBL or Mike Adamle. Obvoiusly Jerry The King Lawler and Good 'ol JR will always be the greatest announce team EVER, but I don't think we'll be seeing them together again anytime soon... so we have to make due with what we have. Having The King and Cole announcing together kind of reminds me of the good 'ol smackdown days. The days where they were paired up on Thursday night Smackdown (before they ever made the switch to Friday nights),

I was actually glad to hear Cody say that. It's kinda like a "behind the scenes" type of thing. And I'm pretty sure Cody isn't the only one who feels that way...

Michael Cole does blow. Jerry Lawler is getting no better. They missed an easy lay up last night when Punk said he would "never throw an opponent into a body of water". I'm SURE that was done so dopey and pervy could say "hey, wasn't CM Punk the guy competing in the first Gulf Of Mexico Match where he threw Chavo Guerrero into a body of water?" But of course, that would mean they might have to pay attention to shows other then RAW and god forbid we do that.

So Kaval wins NXT...and gets beat up...I'm wondering how many of the eliminated guys wind up filling Nexus spots, or wind up in a similar group but on Smackdown!
